THE TYING DOWN HE-GOAT MUST FEED BY THE OWNER.

According to the report from New paper, radio and social media from our prison yards that was over filled with the prisoner. Something must be done regarding Nigeria prisoner with idleness in the prison yards there must be a solution

Ideas rule the world, why can't we learn from Burkina Faso government regarding the prisoners agricultural rehabilitation. I believe that a father can learn from his son or daughter with good initiative.

We can't be sleeping and face the same direction. Remember that the owner of the stubborn he-goat tying down must feeds the he-goat owner.

Why can we trained our prisoner for agricultural revolution rehabilitation. They are just eating and sleeping without doing anything in the prison, it's high time to sheld our lights on our darkness, so that when they come out they will be useful for themselves and Nation.

It's nothing to do with the President because the idea can come from Minister of Agriculture because there are more jobs to handle by the president. I personally challenge the Minister of Agriculture to introduce these ideas into our system.

The Minister of Agriculture and Minister in charge of Prisoners should put head together to do the needfuls and seek government approver for Prisoners Agricultural revolution rehabilitation.

Burkina Faso has implemented prison reforms where inmates, including those awaiting trial, can work in the agricultural sector, with one month of labor equating to a three-month reduction in their sentence, aiming to rehabilitate prisoners, boost agricultural productivity, and align the justice system with African values.

Here's a more detailed explanation of the reforms:
Prison Labor for Sentence Reduction:

Under the new law, prisoners and those awaiting trial can engage in agricultural labor, with one month of work reducing their sentence by three months.

Rehabilitation and Reintegration:
This initiative aims to provide prisoners with valuable skills that will help them reintegrate into society after their release.

Boosting Agricultural Productivity:
The initiative also aims to boost the country's agricultural output through prison labor and address domestic production and food insecurity.

Alignment with African Values:
The reforms are intended to align Burkina Faso's judicial system with African values, focusing on rehabilitation and reintegration rather than solely punishment.
Initiated by President Ibrahim Traoré:

The reforms have been championed by President Ibrahim Traoré.

Positive Outcomes:
The initiative is seen as a laudable development that could benefit both prisoners and the country, potentially inspiring similar initiatives in other African nations.
